if you have a wagon and no tag light.......

Recommended Posts

check the wires that run under/alongside the passenger side tailgate hinge coming out of the roof. the wires on mine had become wedged under the hinge.

when the tailgate was open the light worked like a charm but when it was about an inch from being closed the light shut off just as smoothly as a dome light going off when you close a car door.

I de-wedgied mine from under the hinge and now it works like a charm no matter what position the tailgate is in!!!

haha...

when i closed my passenger door the speaker would quit working. Couldn't figure it out, replaced wires, STILL did it. it only quit working when the door striker hit the door mechanism thing... Pulled one screw out at a time till i found the culprit :D Somehow one of the screws were causing it to ground to the door and when the striker hit it would kill the speaker..
