laotsu Posted June 16, 2010 Report Share Posted June 16, 2010 I just got a '71 521 and it popped the radiator on the drive home. had a lloksee and its all soldered at the top seams so I tried JB welding it but it just keeps popping. Can I use any L16 radiator in there or would a early 80's VW radiator be a better idea? HELP? Quote Link to comment

banzai510(hainz) Posted June 17, 2010 Report Share Posted June 17, 2010 see if a radiator shop can solder it up. They can tell you if rad is still good or not. as Mike said 521 rads are the same as a 510. so find a sapre also Quote Link to comment
