gen4maxima536 Posted June 10, 2010 Report Share Posted June 10, 2010 Looking for pictures of a 69 dash, mainly the steering column and the surrounding area, where the ignition switch is, etc. Trying to figure out what I'm missing and what 69 specific parts i'm going to need. My ignition wiring is hanging in a location that suggests that the ignition switch was mounted to the underside of the dash, i'm not sure if this is correct. Quote Link to comment

I have a 69 as well but unfortunately, I have no pics. but, it does mount on the right side of the column, just at the bottom of the dash. there is a plastic mount that the ignition mounts to on the bottom of the dash. basicly looks like an L bracket made out of plastic..from what I have heard, they are hard to find and like mine, wear out and allow the ignition switch to rotate a little when you turn the key.
