Docsis510 Posted June 7, 2010 Report Share Posted June 7, 2010 i bought a set of aftermarket gauges for my ka24de. i didnt even check but the water temp gauge is mechanical. the senser on the gauge is too long and big to install on the same spot the old one goes. just wondering if anyone has an easy way to hook this up or what should i do??? dusty_wang Posted June 7, 2010 Report Share Posted June 7, 2010 A few companies make a water temp gauge adaptor that splice into the rad hose. I have a Buddy Club adaptor on my car. That may work measure the probe and check if it will fit into an adaptor. They range in size from 28mm to 38mm. Quote Link to comment

Pacific coast Datsun Posted June 7, 2010 Report Share Posted June 7, 2010 Jose, if we can find a threaded piece that the new temp sender fits into we can install it right where the upper hose goes into the upper jacket. We / You just need a 3 inch section of tubing that the rad. hose will slide over. Quote Link to comment
