Any difference between 71 and 72 strut

Maybe someone can answer this..is there any difference between a 1971 and 1972 front strut assembly, like length and size of springs and inserts..thanks...

generally 71 is the 11.5 inch and the later is 11 inch

68-69 are 10.5 inch

So a 72 is 11"? And will I have a problem using the 72 strut and springs (front and back) to my 71?

no propelm just make sure they are matched pair.

 

back in the day the 68-69 were the struts to get as they are shorter and youcan lower the car by keeping the stock springs

Now people use the 280zx set up which does the same but a litlle lower and has bigger brakes

Thanks..Hainz,,okay check this out...yesterday I was checking out my struts and it's blue but it has a part number #A2650, maybe someone knows if this is aftermarket. I was thinking Tokico but I did not see any Tokico emblems or logo, maybe I do have a 68-69 now eventhough my car is a 71 it was produced in 11/70, per tag on drivers pillar.
