sick620
How hard would it be to throw in a q45 rear axel under a 620? I want lsd. Is there a better car to get a lsd rear diff from? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Vg Hardbody 4X4 with standard tranny have 4.375 H-233 LSD. You would have to cut the leaf spring perches off and re-mount on the underside of the axle tubes. They are a couple of inches wider than the 620 (maybe too much) are available with rear disc, are larger than a Ford 9" and the 620 rims fit the bolt pattern. Quote Link to comment
yellowdatsun
Just going on a wild assumption here, but isn't the Q45 independent? Quote Link to comment
sick620
Wait mike is it longer or wider? because I dont see how wider might pose a problem unless of course the U bolts no longer wrap around it but I could just get bigger ones and redrill the holes in the mounting brackets on the shocks right? datzenmike
Distance side to side between rims. It's around 150cm/ 59". Probably too big, I mean wide. Quote Link to comment
72240z
Well considering the cutting and welding you'd have to do to get a irs in isn't that semantics? Wouldnt the lsd out of a d21/d22/pathy be way easier? Quote Link to comment
