beebeecivic
I have been searching and searching for a pic of the "notch" on the cam pulley required to set the timing. I have looked at the fsm and haynes manual but I need a actual picture of what it looks like. Any help would be nice thanks! btw I checked on hybrid with no luck :( -bee Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
It's very small. Set motor on TDC or as close as you can and feel around the pulley edges near the timing scale bolted on the timing cover. . Quote Link to comment

I had the pulley picks up and then saw you posted a cam sprocket so I tore them down and put up a sprocket... only to see it wasn't right... tore it all down again and put up the crank pulley again. It was ambiguous. :D Quote Link to comment

hughdogz
I know it's a little late, but now that you've found it, mark it white. Paint would be the best, or use a piece of chalk. In a pinch you can use kitty-litter or even some gypsum from drywall. Just scratch it in there, and wipe the rest off that didn't get pushed into the notch. Hope this helps... Quote Link to comment
