Unless you have documents with the engine or have Rebello I.D. the engine, there really is no way. From what I remember most of their trademark work was in headwork, cams and such. Most parts used where hi po parts made by other vendors and Nissan Comp.

I know that some engine houses will put their decals on the valve covers in most cases or paint their engines in a certain color.

Dave Rebello is pretty famous for his heads. Is it an L4 or an L6? I'm not sure with the 4cyl variants, but if it's got a true rebello head, it should be mostly easy to tell as his port work is mostly flawless. If you can set the head on the bench and think to yourself, why the hell would anyone dump this much cash into a cheap non-crossflow datsun, odds are Dave Rebello probably had his hands in it somewhere.
