Thanks Mark!! That is the picture.

 

We had quite a thread going before on that photo with speculation on the year it was taken by the colors present. Also, on the later trucks, that is the reason that Nissan changed the mounting of the fuel tanks onto the frame. So that the truck could be moved without the older tanks mounted TO the bottom of the bed. However they did it back then.

 

We have also speculated that those are BUMPERETTES. What has not happened and hopefully since then, is that employees from the dock have surfaced to tell Their tales.

 

On the subject of riding in a 620 while in transit........ YES, that was possable. Look at the brochure photo. There was complete access in those days to any vehilce shipped by rail. I personally got to set in a YES, THIS IS CORRECT, a FOURDOOR CORVETTE one night in Barstow yard. Google it for a cool low production build that You could have purchased.

 

Any new imput on this photo???? Location? Etc?
