hey this is my 1976 datsun 620 I bought for $100

Im from Australia, these seem to be very rare here, I found it in a paddock where it had been for 12 years!

didn't come with a motor, complete besides that..

so far I have pulled rear suspension out, including the diff.

cant find any bodyfillers, seems to be original

I have a L18 engine with quad bike carbies and a 5 spd box lined up for it :D

plans are to re-do supsension (bushes etc) get it roadworthy an registered..

I would like to paint it a burnt orange with black wheels, that would be trickk,,

Then notch it and air bags!

big plans on a low budget

I also have a deadline of rego for mid january..

enough of the boring stuff heres some pics

Well I picked up a motor for free! only needed the head off it to put on though which was in awesome condition!

so replaced head gasket, did clearances an torqued head down an it started pretty easily, stoked!

Went for a burn around the block, shifts smooth.

Should get a road worthy certificate soon and be rollin,

ill get some new pics up asap.

cheers an beers - sean
