I have a 75 620, all original. As much as I like driving around with a huge headache my passengers cant stand it. It smells like a fuel leak on the passenger side, but no real obvious signs of an exhaust or fuel leak. Please let me know if you guys can help.

Check the charcoal cannister if equipped. It's job is to collect and save fumes from the gas tank and carb. Also make sure the hose from the valve cover to the air filter is on and in good shape or fumes will escape. Check the PCV hose on the driver's side of the block to the intake at the base of the carb. Any of these systems or hoses off or damaged can cause vapor leaks.

Is your choke stuck on when warmed up?

Is your dip stick sealed properly?
