BROWNE
I have a 75 620, all original. As much as I like driving around with a huge headache my passengers cant stand it. It smells like a fuel leak on the passenger side, but no real obvious signs of an exhaust or fuel leak. Please let me know if you guys can help. Quote Link to comment
izzo
its hard to say man without looking at it. you are going to have to track it down. Fill out your profile with a location and such, maybe if your local to someone else they will be kind enough to help you track it down. Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
Check the charcoal cannister if equipped. It's job is to collect and save fumes from the gas tank and carb. Also make sure the hose from the valve cover to the air filter is on and in good shape or fumes will escape. Check the PCV hose on the driver's side of the block to the intake at the base of the carb. Any of these systems or hoses off or damaged can cause vapor leaks. Is your choke stuck on when warmed up? Is your dip stick sealed properly? Quote Link to comment
datsunaholic
Also, these things have a vapor expansion tank in the passenger side rear wheelwell. They tend to rust out, and vent the fumes under the truck. Quote Link to comment
