66 datsun truck?

I never knew that this are hard to find.. or are they ?

 

only reason i ask is because i see one parked across the street everyday ( works at ROTHS) and it mint cond. ( i'll have to take some pics) ..

 

so i looked it up because my dad loves the way it looks.. and come to find out its a 66? and seems to me maybe the onnly year made? is that soo?

single headlights up front instead of the dual.... idk can someone tell me more about these!!

 

interesting to know just incase i find one and might want it.. :lol:

Cody, what you found is a Datsun 520. That was my first rig at the age of

14. :D Cool little trucks. Should have a J1300cc in it.

I had one. The 520 is 66-67. The 67 grill is dual headlight which makes the 66 the only square body truck with single headlights. BUT, late 66 had dual headlights because Nissan wasn't particular about when they changed stuff. An example of that is my 59 L210 is acually a 58 but was redated. Made in late 58 it wasn't gonna make it to the states till 59 so that's the year model they gave it.
