I agree with this. The FS5W71B has larger gears and bearings and will handle more abuse. If you find one in a '77-'79 truck take the drive shaft too. This should give you the shorter front shaft so you don't have to shorten yours. Also it will have the splined tranny end, which you have to get anyway as the 521 used a flange output.

 

Once 'converted' over any '77-'80 620/720, '77-'83 280z/zx non turbo, '78-83 810/Maxima 5spd will drop in. With some wrenching the L series 'bell' can be swapped onto the 5spd from any gas or diesel 720 or '80-'86.5 200sx with Z or CA motor.
