sdsurf
The center link in my truck is bent due to the PO trying to install a napz without using the proper pan. I have an extra one but I want the Ratsun experts opinions on how to remove and replace. Help please!! Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
Just a matter of unbolting the 4 bolts holding it on,,believe they are 17MM [been awhile since i was under a 521] Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I seem to remember something about not really needing it. It was a discussion on NWDE about the front of the torsion bars mounts. Datsunaholic do you remember this? Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
If you mean the steering cross rod then ... yes. I thought you meant the brace between the two lower control arms. PCD mentions 4 17mm bolts holding it on... I can see it being modified to give pan clearance but what idiot would bend or fuck with steering????? answer.. The PO!!! Quote Link to comment

sdsurf
Ok I got the new tie rod ends. Anyone replaced these? Do they screw on the bar til tight or do I need to get a proper length from the old and set it at that? Quote Link to comment
