center link 521

The center link in my truck is bent due to the PO trying to install a napz without using the proper pan. I have an extra one but I want the Ratsun experts opinions on how to remove and replace. Help please!!

I seem to remember something about not really needing it. It was a discussion on NWDE about the front of the torsion bars mounts. Datsunaholic do you remember this?

 

isn't it fairly important for the steering?

If you mean the steering cross rod then ... yes. I thought you meant the brace between the two lower control arms. PCD mentions 4 17mm bolts holding it on... I can see it being modified to give pan clearance but what idiot would bend or fuck with steering????? answer.. The PO!!!:blink:

exactly. Thats why I want to know the ins and outs of removing and installing tie rod ends.
