datzenmike Posted May 1, 2009 Report Share Posted May 1, 2009 Looks are relative. No one can see it when you drive by, just like a header. Many who have done this have caused problems like removing the PCV valve. They secretly think this is a good thing and will give back some hidden mileage/performance but it just isn't so. The smog equipment back in the '70s was quite benign in action. Most block off plates are pretty cheesy looking and worse than the thing they replace. Save what ever you remove so that you can put it back later. Quote Link to comment
