jjhains
My question is: Does the fire wall need to be reworked in a 620 for the small chevy to fit? What about the oil pan into the engine bay, will it fit without rework? Quote Link to comment
Edz280zx
Never done one myself...but all the ones I have seen have had firewall mods. Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
Don't do it. There's only one or two ways to get it right and an infinite number for fucking it up! The odds are against you. The Chev weighs over twice the amount of the L motor so will handle like shit unless you mod the suspension and then it will only be half assed. With twice the engine weight and twice the power it's going to be four times easier to get into trouble so a lot of thought and expense should go into getting the brakes up-graded. The stock H-190 will just about handle a V8 but they didn't come with LSD and one tire fire take offs will lunch it in short order. You might want to get something a little more stout with LSD, and lower gearing, perhaps around 3.50 or so. Quote Link to comment
