]2eDeYe Posted March 5, 2009 Report Share Posted March 5, 2009 Only with the front hubs lock, unlock them and it will steer like an open diff. You can also phase your axle u-joints to reduce the bind when the hubs are locked, makes it alot easier to turn. My hubs are usually only locked when I am in 4 wheel drive and in the dirt or snow. I've had it on the road between trails and it's noticable but not uncontrollable. I'd do it again in a heart beat. Welded rear will wear your tires a bit faster and you'll feel it in the curves, but if it's a wheeler, your not to concerned about high speed cornering. Link to comment
