Another big thank you bump. I picked up a remote unit but felt the simplicity of the HEI set up was worth the $25, sure was. Night and day difference in the level of spark intensity. Side note, my dizzy didn't have red and green wires coming out of it. Instead I have 2 blue wires, I ran a trace but with the wries being twisted together so my trace was not helping much. Luckily I still had the remote igniter and the terminal block, the terminal block has red and green wires so I ran the HEI to the terminal and was good.

Cool, thanks! I saw a nice looking dime at Lowes in Bremerton yesterday. It's a Seafoam Green 2 door with Cagers, I've seen it around before. I haven't herad from the shipper at all, I'll call them Monday to find out whats the haps.

So I dug the book out of the basement and it has the least amount of detail setting up a satchel 4 link, go figure.

Fill us in on what you find. Chassis engineering goes into the kind of detail it sounds like your talking about with all types of equations to work out. I need to pull out my book, I want to do a 4 link in the goon I just picked up and think I've found a way on paper that can simplify the whole process. Need to look into some more though.

Maybe a little late... You may have figured it out by now. I have a copy of Chassis Engineering by Herb Adams. Has all the info youll need for setting up a 4 link, plus a bunch of other good stuff too.

I got the shipping schedule but I won't know when they pick you up until the day of. Wow is down though I worked on it and had eileen for a little bit but I couldn't get it safe enough to drive. Why was there I reset the floats but that wasn't enough. I had to have the adjustment screw 5 turns out on the primary and all the way in on the secondary just to get it to idle. I was told I had been a month since that last for trying to get it started in that time the fuel bowl was completely bone dry. So even though the carb was rebuilt I'm going to start there.

Bought this yesterday! Couldn't keep it running long enough to drive it home. Getting it shipped sometime this week.
