Yeah it sucks around here sometimes, the Tacoma branches are open. I went to 3 different stops last night looking for spot weld cutters because the one place I that I know for sure has them closes at 5pm, they are open today though so I'll pick them up on my way out. Didn't have time yesterday so I'm making the plates I need at work. Stoopid life getting in the way of my projects..... Plan to get back on it this weekend. I've decided I am gonna gonna quick and dirty on the strut brace I'll build a permanent solution when I do new camber plates up front.. I'll be using scraps from work to build it.. The thickest tubing I have is only 49thou by 1.5" ill weld this directly to some plate I bolt to the strut towers. This will only help to hold the strut in place while I weld in the new section. ATM I'm thinking I'll cut the upper rail and patch in the new section. I'll try to snap a lot of pics..... Maybe I'll move this to a build thread.

Oh when you said 8" I thought you meant nominal, I was thinking like a 1.25-1.5" stretch. why'd you get those big ol slabs of rubber? lol. Hell yeah! In my dreams I get good at machining (I can already use Solidworks) then we can justify reconditioning one of our CNC's. If that happens I'll be our in house machinist/engineer forget another 4 years of night classes! You work at that full shop though, so you'll have to help me fab some stuff up.... actually those camber plates would be easy as hell to make. I just don't know where to go for the shock mounting if I were to do it from scratch, haven't looked into it though.

Yeah I think they look like garbage but they do look better on the ZX. The cars in here take a ton of skill, I liked these crazy styles the minute I saw them. The work that goes into them alone is something any car person has to respect.
