  1. Hey man, cool to see another Ratsuner in "The Land of Entrapment"!

  2. It's not really about the environment in CA. It's about money. Used to live in Riverside (home of the Bro Life. lol) Case in point, my Pop's '73 CJ-5 had to be smog checked before the rolling exemption year hit it (this is about ten years ago I think) and we have a 401 AMC V8 underhood. Had an edelbrock manifold, holly 650 quad, etc. on it. When run thru the test, it passed with flying colors on emissions, yet failed on visual. My pops had a Ref. leter signed excluding the parts on it, but the station refused to accept it and called in their own ref, who denied it, and told him he had to put the stock manifold and carb on it. So we find some stock parts, buy them, put them on, and re-test. Passes visual, runs damn near failing on the emissions (way dirtier than with the other parts.) and gets passed. I love NM. no smog testing except for Bernallillo county. I used to be a certified inspector there, and the test was pretty easy to pass even there. Nothing like CA.
  3. That's what I thought at first when I saw it, but then it looked like the lower arm would go up in there a bit as well. Huh. Didn't think it actually needed that clearance, my HB didn't. In that case, yes, clarification plz. lol Maybe this spot? Looks like tie rod/steering clearance for when it's dumped...
  4. Look behind the bag in the bottom pic, there's a notch in the frame there where it allows the lower arm to go up further. I think that's what he's talking about. Sick rear link setup
  5. That lowtracker looks sick, dig it. There's a co. making bagged bikes out there - http://www.downbikes.com/
  6. This is a familiar lookin guy here... O.o BTW, to the OP - Nice lookin frame job there, dig it!
  7. Just checked mine out to see if it had one but it doesn't. If it did, I'da sent it your way seeing as I don't need anything from the stock engine systems anymore.
  8. Awesome build, love it all, and I'm extremely jealous of your garage. I'd have alot less trouble with my HOA with that setup lol
  9. About $500 later, here's mah bike. Like someone here said, they ain't cheap. Not good ones. Started with a PHAT frame, painted the rims, airbrushed & pinstriped the seat, added a hot rod headlight, and made end caps for the handlebars out of vegas poker chips. Only thing I still want to do to this one is add gearing for the area I live in now. It's no good on hills. If I can figure out a way to run the cabling thru the frame and have it all hidden, I'll do it. I don't want any nasty cables on this thing, mess up the look.
  10. Just had the same issue with my RT4WD, can't get carrier bearings anymore for it anywhere. Friend of mine found me a guy in Colorado that took it and completely modified it so that it would use off the shelf parts but still bolt right back into place like stock. I'll get the info from him on this and post his contact info, it was reasonably priced too, with shipping back and forth, tax and everything it came out to $375 for the rebuild (rebalanced too)
  11. Fucktards. I really hate when shit like this happens. Wish I was closer, I'd come help out with the bodywork to get that back in shape.
  12. Hell it was $500, I couldn't bitch about that. Came complete with the double barrel fart tip too. And coilovers, strut bracing, and a ghetto fab homemade intake. lol
  13. Chad Copeland on here? If not here's his truck. sick as all hell... Link to article: Motor Mavens - War Machine 620
  14. Man if I had some cash I'd buy and bag this so fast... sweet ride, GLWS.
