  1. So i fixed one problem and weeks later after i did that this happens. I was on my way to sell some things and on the way there suddenly the truck would idle super low to the point where charge light would come on. Drive it a bit longer and it started backfiring, drove it a bit longer and it started stalling. Wasn't far from my house so i drove it home, backfiring stalling, and running super rich... 10-15 minutes later i got smelling like gas, i had to pump the gas to get it not to stall it kept stalling. at stops. I fiddled around with it and found if i put the choke on it of course would setlle the idle and cause it not stall, but if i take it off it will die, carb is a weber 32/36 If i hold the gas steady with my foot at anything lower 3k it revs fine but then suddenly tries to stall out.. What could cause it? Thanks!
  2. You made it a two seater that doesnt count just be careful. What cop is going to believe a four door is a two seater, rofl
  3. Bottom line it's illegal in california.
  4. I think it's only legal for two-seater vehicles/trucks. A cop is going to pull you over and obviously say why is there a child in a vehicle with a roll bar.
  5. 225 50 215 50 On a 8 or 8.5
  6. I did do that thing to that cow and goat once at band camp that one time. Lets get the subforum going atleast. :D
  7. The problem was solved, dirty corroded contacts in the turn signal switch, fixed for now but would rather have a spare.
  8. No, i mean you're going from 14s to 18s why go with a bigger wheel? 245s? What's that a 8 8.5" wheel? You can easily fit a 9-10" wheel under a 620, super common to find 15" wide wheels, and 15" is the most common wheel size which opens up plenty of tire options. It's your truck do what you want, were just here for advice we won't make the decision for you. Personally i don't like rubber-band tires and it's a truck so if you use it as a truck i'd rather have that extra meat on the tire for support and less chance of damaging the wheel.
  9. I was going to put my 19" riversides on my 620 for the hell of it. 19x10 19x9 :P But anyways, if you have traction issues you want wider not taller, if you just want more contact area for better grip. Plently of six lug wheels in 8-12" wide
  10. Yup, after fixer mentioned that it would short when turn signal switch was connected i went ahead and took it off. Opened it up cleaned up the contacts, noticed the contacts that control the lights (or turn them off to use the turn signal) had scorch marks and were very corroded (Possibly corrosion caused the short) Went ahead and cleaned it up and took some fine sandpaper to all the contacts in the switch box.. popped it in hesitantly put a 15a fuse in and pressed the brakes...... No pop.... turned back and the lights were on.... Tested Horn, It Worked! Tested hazards, they worked! Tested all three, no fuse blown! Thanks guys! Hope this helps someone else with the same problem.
  11. Need it as soon as possible, by tomorrow if anything. Has to be known working condition.... Brake lights aren't working and fellow ratsunner "Fixer" came over and went over everything and has a feeling switch would be the culprit. (Truck is 73)
  12. Santa ana let me know I need it fixed today or tomorrow will pay for your troubles.
  13. I honestly.dont think or would like to drive it with.electrical problems, it's my dd and my only means of transportation since I wrecked my lexus I do have the.diagram
  14. Unless they release those dna tests to the public I dont believe it.
  15. Hehe can't make it out my driveway without brake lights. :(
  16. I'm just waiting fo Osama to release a new tape..... I highly doubt he's dead...... They killed him and buried him all in a matter of hours? Our Government is a joke.
  17. Oh and whenever I press on the brakes the fuse blows out so there is definitely a short somewhere.
  18. I've been having problems with my brake lights for a couple days now all my other lights work but my brake lights dont. I'm.completely horrible with electrical crap so rather than do more damage id like to have someone who is experienced fix it. It's a 73 620. Of course will pay for it need it fixed.within the day or two else id have.to take it to a shop.and get.got... thanks guys
