Trannys are cheap!! Go get another and do the swap NAO. On to the real purpose of the post, I pulled my plugs to open the gap after installing the CDI box, and found that the plug on cylinder 3 is clean as a whistle and dry. it also is smoking less now after driving it a bit. Compression is up now so the rings free. All other are still leaky, but the one loose is good news! I may not end up tearing it out after all!

If it's an auto, yes (from what I was told. Idk 100%) if manual, it will have to be modified. Which is inexpensive.

Yeah! no doubt. From my understanding, an L20 into a 210 is as simple as getting the engine, matching 5 speed, and a driveshaft from a 210 with auto tranny and it's a simple swap. I was gonna do it with my 210 but have yet to get an L20 down here in the south.

The A15 is the best of the A series and can be built to make tons of power, but it's very expensive. Big bore, cam, turbo, etc.

yes, I believe you can. in fact, I'm pretty sure pumpkin210 did. You'll need the grill, headlights, fenders, etc.

Went out and got it wired up the RIGHT way now. Thanks mini! Started it up and it ran terrible. Wouldn't rev past 2000 and missed like ass. My dad and I went through a ton of stuff and discovered all my vac lines were run together. Also found I have a VAC leak at the vacuum advance. Get this; we pulled out the timing light and didn't even see the timing mark when we checked. The timing was so far off that in order to set it we had to rotate the distributor back a tooth. It had to be about 40-50 degrees BTDC before we checked. Now it runs great. Better then ever. In fact, I have a rev limiter http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9r_oQroJHVQ Whatcha think?
