If you want to compare 2016 models then compare the type r to the new Focus RS, 345hp!

They were just hit with the biggest fine in history for covering up their airbag issue, but got very little attention in the media, because they are Honda. Meanwhile GM got draged through the mud for months over the ingnition switch thing. Honda did the same thing on a bigger scale, and very little made it to the news about it. I found out about the fine reading page 5 of the business section of the paper, if it would have been Ford or GM, it would have been on the front page! :fu:

As I've said before Hondas and Toyotas are over rated, and no better than the rest. I know a lot of Maxima owners that would argue with you all day about that, but I can't as I'm not a sedan kind of guy normally. Toyota is number one right now, but not for long. VW is on a mission to take over that spot. I now own a 2015 Golf, and comparing the quality of it with the competition, they will be number one soon. The more I drive it, the more I like it, and I hate front wheel drive cars!

Incase you haven't noticed this is a Datsun (Nissan) forum, and I made that comment because Hondas, and Toyotas are so over rated by most of the world when they are no better than any of the other Japanese brands. I own more imports than US cars, so I have nothin against imports, I just think there are other imports other than Honda and Toyota that are just as good, if not better. I don't know about Honda, because I personally have never had to buy any parts for one, but Toyotas parts are rediculisly high priced, I will never own another one for that reason. My take on Honda and Toyota owners is they think their shit don't stink.
