I have run across several leftover parts from my previous projects that I need to clear out of my shop. I have an L20 polished dip stick, and lifting eye. A good set of blue bucket seats from a 79 King cab, a new headliner for a 1200 coupe, throttle cable for a 1200, and for a 79 620, and an alternator adjuster bracket for an L20. I also have 2 trim pieces for the front of a 620 hood, and misc. stainless King Cab trim for the windows that I'm not sure if complete or not, still in the box from when I purchased. That is what I remember at the moment. If I find more I will add to the list. I'm not looking to make much from these so just make a reasonable offer + shipping, and we will have a deal. Can take pics if needed but will need some time to get the seats down and cleaned up from 8 years of storage. I just remembered a couple of other things, I have a complete set of 1200 full wheel covers, and one or 2 620 hub caps, and a pair of complete with brakes 280ZX front struts as well. I just ran accross1 620 hub cap, and a set of 1200 full wheel covers if someone is restoring to stock. My shop is like a treasure hunt! LOL! More stuff just found a new set of 620 heater hoses and a heater core. Some of this stuff is very hard to find I know that is why I had spares that I hunted for months to find so I hate to just throw it away. If this stuff doesn't go to someone here soon, I will be forced to toss all the used stuff in the dumpster and list the new on Ebay as I need to clear out my shop as my place is going to be sold in the next year or so. Cleaning the shop yesterday and found more stuff. a Chilton manual for 1970 to 86 pickups, a Clymer manual for 68 to 80 pickups, Messer's How to keep your Datsun alive, and a factory 1976 620 manual. please salvage this stuff before I have to toss it! The L20 parts are gone, all that is left are the 620 seats, throttle cable, hub cap, Chilton and Clymer manuals, and a left tail light. Also 1200 full wheel covers, and throttle cable. Thanks, Jim

  2. I guess this one isn't based on anything built in the US?
  3. 2 to 1 that is a Ford wedge head, ford only made one hemi, and it was a V8! Just because you put a sticker on something does not make it so. 🙄
  4. Valve cover is too narrow to be a hemi, and looks like a Ford 6 to me! 🤣
  5. That is a cargo box, A few companies used these in states that had trailer length laws that kept them from using longer trailers to haul lightweight freight. After national laws were passed to make it uniform from state to state things changed, that is why you don't see many cabover trucks like was popular in the 60s and 70s.
  6. I wish I could afford a nice replica like this one at least. Maybe it's time to start buying Lotto tickets! ?
  7. Here are a couple of off road from the Philippines where I just was on vacation.
  8. It's a EM-50 Urban Assault Vehicle! ?
  9. Rear looks pretty good, front not so much! ?
  10. Heard one of these running inside the Shelby museum, incredible sounds!

I understand the old school look, but I really liked the handling with the larger wheels, and tires on mine. The dog leg 5 speed was great too! Unfortunately like Duncan I'm too old for major car projects now, so this is my toy now. ?

Green car is looking great! ?
  13. US versions were much better looking, in my opinion, proportions look all weird on this one. ?
  14. That is a big rat on top of the bar! ?
  15. What's wrong with a Johnny popper? They were amazing in their day! Our neighbor had 3 of them and you could hear them every time they were out in the field working. Too bad they don't put it under load so you can hear the true sound. The smaller round thing on the other side is the brake.
  16. And I refer you again to the Chevy performance article; Chevy product planners had a different outlook. They reasoned that if the Corvette came with a manual trans, the public would view the car as old fashioned. After all, went the thinking, who wants to shift gears like they did in the olden days? So, from the beginning, a manual Corvette was not a consideration. Besides, the Powerglide two-speed auto was perfectly matched to what was then known as the Powerglide six-cylinder engine. The Powerglide six was a solid, passenger-car version of the 235ci Chevy truck engine that had been around since 1929, when it was known as the Stovebolt Six. It made 115 hp using wedge-shaped combustion chambers, hydraulic lifters, 7.5:1 compression, and a single-barrel downdraft Carter carb. The '53 version received aluminum pistons (a first for Chevy), full-pressure lubrication for the bottom end, and steel-backed inserted rod bearings.
