Damn strut inserts. Why did nissan design them this way? Well passenger side is done.

But,,,, it comes right out, nee one fits right in. I've done it with out ever unbolting any lower components

Uh what? You have to decompress the springs. Which means removal of strut from car. And then you have to deal with that awful nut on the top of the strut, the one that holds the cartridge in.

I have moveable lower spring perches... I just jack a 2x4 up to the lower perch, and release collars, and then lower the spring. The bigger issue is compressing the spring. And Im not talking about the top hat nut ;)
