well the most notable differences in 79 are.... *the fuel tank bolts to the frame *electronic ignition *antenna is on drivers side *theres a second wall to the tailgate *front disc brakes *L20B motor *different thickness to core support I probably forgot something...... For me 79 was the best year by far but alot guys are into the PL's

it raced 60 laps at the local race track it placed a few times won first once i think... Not really much to it... the guy owned it and thought it was just some gay grandma car and cut it up and made a circle track car.... kinda sad.

WELCOME!!! Ratsun is the coolest place ever and you will learn that fast. that thing looks real nice a very sweet project.... For your first time project my advice is to take everything real slow get one part done at a time and do everything right... I cant wait to see the progress.... I LOVE the color. :D

Ya they just dont see its potential because alot of them probably had there 510's bought for them for something to take to the country club on sundays and they have julio at the local les schwab do all there tune ups..... And I agree a 510 race car has personality, a sr swapped show car has none. I can sit in this car and I can have my own bre 510.... everyone has a dream.

ya man thats what im saying i never expected to drive it on the road or pick up chicks or fit in at the country club or anything. I just see a datsun and my heart smiles..... I KNOW I could get it running and driving in a week or less.... thats why i got it. Im not relly sure what i want to do with it I just see some straight up ratsun potential and I can work some datsun magic on it.
