Looks great. Did you use an aerosol paint for the wheels? If so, what is the brand and color?
Thanks,
Keith

Does anyone have a photo of the original tail gate chain & latch? Is the chain link welded to the truck bed loop? That is the length of the chain? Is the chain threaded in a plastic/rubber sheaf?
Thanks,
Keith

The color will remain 563 Sora Blue. The seat upholstery will be black. I have finally located a oil slinger, so now I can complete the reassembly of the J13 motor.

I am rebuilding the rear brakes and need to replace the dust boots on the brake cable. There is no part number assigned to the dust boot, only the cable (which I presume includes boots. (http://www.carpartsmanual.com/datsun520/Datsun520521Index/Brake/HandBrakeLinkage/tabid/1476/Default.aspx)
Has anyone found a boot that will work for this application?
Thanks,
Keith

Next time you get to a salvage yard take along a tape measure. I have heard that the Toyota and Mitsu wing windows are the same size. If so, then perhaps those parts are still available from the dealer.

Has anyone made a purchase and specified surface, rather than air, shipping? If so, how long did it take to receive the items? (I purchased a pair of seat covers on May 13, 2011 and have not received the shipment nor a tracking number.)
Thanks,
Keith

OK, I have the location of the holes marked. Now I need to know the size of the 520 holes?

Would you sell me the oil slinger that resides behind the front pulley?
Thanks,

Looking good.
So far, I have refurbished one wheel. I had a P205/75R14 Goodyear Viva 2 WSW mounted. It seems these old rims are so well built (and heavy) that very little weight was needed. (Your wheel shows no weight on the outside, so the color looks uninterrupted.)

I recently had new floor pans installed on the driver & passenger foot wells of my 520. The original pans were corroded very badly. I now need to drill the drain holes. Does anyone have the measurements for the position of the holes? (I want to replicate the original pans as closely as possible.)
Thanks,
Keith

Great looking.
I have been stripping my wheels and priming with acid etching primer, then painting with an argent silver paint. I discovered that the valve stem hole on the original wheel is .625" (rather than .453"). Some tire shops do not carry this size stem, so you may want to bring a set along when you have tires mounted.
BTW, what tire have you decided to mount?

The P195/75/14, P205/75/14, and P215/75/14 are the metric equilivants. All will fit the original 520/521 rim.
