cool , thanks for the input. All 3 say 63A though.....well now I know if I ever come across a nice a series engine I already have a 5 speed for it or I can swap the housing if needed.

I have a couple of doglegs sold so I pulled these guys out of storage to get them ready but one of them looks different. The tranny in question is the one on the left hand side in every pic. Looks like someone swapped the bell housing? The back end of each tranny look the same and they are all stamped 63A.....I wonder what the others in storage look like? I'm pretty sure I removed all these from L series engines. :confused:
