  1. Shipping off three carpet kits off today and have another ready to go if any one wants one!
  2. Bump for this month's meet on 2/28/13! See you cats out there!
  3. Got your payment, thanks! I'll let you know as soon as it ships out!
  4. What do you want another one for anyway Abe? :P
  5. Replacing? Why not get the 510 goon and just add to it? Like me! :P Just kidding...good luck with your search Marco!
  6. Eye1Care & Neil206: Sent off both your carpet kit and sent you both your tracking numbers in PM! Sedan20: I sent you a PM about the carpet kit! If anyone else needs one just let me know. :)
  7. You may have to go out of the area to buy one within your budget. I've noticed that recently prices have been really going up...I mean look at this 510 (yes it's a 4 door but just giving you the example)! http://sfbay.craigslist.org/scz/cto/3598669683.html
  8. Clean car, I've seen it many times in person and the pictures don't do it justice! GLWS Gino!
  9. This isn't a FS thread btw, it's a WTB thread and the question was asked about the 68 differences, so it's good to get all the differences (piece by piece if need be) incase someone else wants to know. Generally the more information the better.
  10. Pinche Daniel...toma fotos en vez de dar donas! :P
  11. Sorry meant vinyl transfer (although I've never heard of this either). How durable is it? Just wondering if it would start to peel off little by little as time goes by? Yeah I can imagine a good embroidery machine can't be cheap!
  12. I have a guy who does embroidery that I don't think is too bad. I took him a picture and he whipped this out for me for $15 including the hat! But CJ's work looks great! What else can you silk screen?
  13. Haven't done much to it, it's just been hanging out with its Panasport brothers (my CRX & Miata both also sporting my favorite wheels!) :)
  14. Auos Gnaf: Shipped your kit out today and PM'ed you! Thanks! :)
  15. Antenna mast: Right, which is why I posted the pics. I'm not saying my list is comprehensive, just rattling off the key differences. Pictures are worth 1000 words. Also the dual SUs and the SSS air filter, again I assumed it was stock since the brochure I have shows these in them, and it's a US brochure so who knows. My wagon doesn't have front drums...and yes I think we're all aware to keep an eye out for leaks for those single cyclinder setups. :)
  16. I'm sure I'm confusing the year and the up/down/side-side...but that's the difference in the year's dash design. Plus back then Datsun was notorious for using left over bits from the previous model year on the next model year until they used up all the parts, so I'm sure there was some early 69 models sporting 68 dashes (and other parts probably).
  17. From what I recall, 68 dashes had the heater controls vertical (sliding up and down)and the 69 dash had them horizontal (sliding side to side) (EDIT: or maybe I have it the other way around). Besides that not much else, but still a difference. :)
  18. Maybe not stock but maybe it was an option? I have an old original brochure for the 1968 510's and it clearly showed a dual su carb set up. So I assumed but maybe it could have been a dealer option, who knows.
  19. And for completeness here's my 1969 Wagon. Differences are a 1969 only grille (not bezels), Arrowhead style front side markers, Circular rear side markers, Unique dash. Oh and yes, both the 1968 & 1969 had metal vents on the rear hatch. :)
  20. Hell yes they make 68 goons! Not trying to hijack your thread but so you know, here's my 1968 Wagon when I first picked it up (hence the FOR SALE SIGN, but it's not for sale :P) Some of the differences are: wiper (Suicide), Antenna mast on wiper cowl, Arrowhead style front side markers, 68 only grille/bezels, no rear side markers, no rear license plate lights on hatch (light is on the rear bumper), locking gas cap, unique dash, unique seats (no head rests), Unique valve cover, Unique stock dual SU carburators, Unique air cleaner assembly, Single chamber brake M/C. STOCK: Some different wheels and finally lowered
