  1. Wow! Nice Fastback mang! Euro fogs? Sweet. I never realized how long the nose was on those. It would be a HUGE undertaking (..and probably too spendy), but would anyone else like to see a monster inline-6 twin turbo sitting under the front "bonnet" on that thing? -Brian

    521 'King Cab'

Kinda off topic, but does anyone know the whereabouts of this truck: -Brian
  3. Sorry for everyone bashing on the new ride Ron. Sometimes people should really stick to mom's "nothing nice to say, don't say at all" mantra. It is a nice freakin car guys! The in-laws have one and I've driven it. Side note! How do you like the QR25 that's under the hood? I drove the in-laws car w/ mom in the car. Thus, I couldn't beat on it. QR's a rev happy like crazy and they respond to boost well. I know its the wifes, but i'm just putting it out there. ;) -Brian

    Goon gas tank

Pretty sure larger is going to the carb and the smaller is the return. That's the route that's on my truck. -Brian

Nice! Glad to see it here. Seen it around. Did you do the fabrication? -Brian
  6. So who's Atson and why is he nude? Haha! (nud -atsn) j/k. -Brian
  7. Hehe. Was the family busting on you for having a non-Toy!??!?! Or were the Yotas not happy w/ the new edition to the collection? -Brian
  8. Yea. It would be "808-521" but my Integra came first. :fu:
  9. I just got back from family business on Oahu. The nickel ads had a 2 for 1 510 deal. One looked like a runner and one was parts. $2K. They ARE they, but they're hard to find, expensive and probably have rust. Also saw a gold roadster (WHOA!) in Waipahu and, just as I was slowing down to get a better look, a blue dime passed me. :)
  10. Sweet! Can we get a shot from the underside of the front? I'm curious to see how you mounted the LCA. :) -Brian
  11. Cutting and wrenching in a tank a slippahs! Arnel isn't from 808 is he? Hahaha! GOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooon--------sssSSSQUaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. -Brian
  12. Ahhhh! I going to fly out there to look at that goon! Hahaha! Thanks mang. You probably saved me from been drop kicked by a tiny asian woman. ;) -Brian

    music?

Hawaiian music! Cheeeehooooo! Reggae. Alternative (some.) Hip hop. R&B.
  14. Now now guys. Lets get constructive and help this guy in the right direction. My own $.02, completetion sells. I know you don't WANT to spend anymore time on this rig, BUT you may want to sacrifice a weekend and put everything back together. Completetion sells! People don't care how much its ready for paint or that lots of work went into bodywork. Chances are whoever buys it is going to redo most of it anyway. It runs - Good! All glass there - Good! Drivetrain all there - Good! 620 tailgate - Bad! Get rid of it. Selling it w/o a gate is better then leaving the 620 one there. The lines do not match. Take care of that stuff and you could actually get $1500 for it. You're on the east coast. Not many Datsuns there. Hope this helps. -Brian
  15. 16:1! 110+ octane all the time on that puppy! That's going to sound like a beast. Can't wait to see it one day.....even if its just on youtube. -Brian
  16. I don't think it was lighter. I more distinctly remember the red faced SSR's and the red seats. I know it was some shade of Royal blue metallic. The twin sidedrafts were on it, but it only had velocity stacks. Looked as sick as it does now. Good score. -Brian
  17. Wow. I saw this truck a few years back in Cali. We were looking for motor sets and this ute was at one of the importers. I think they wanted $1700 for it at the time. Nice to see it here. -Brian
  18. Man, that seems like such a long time ago. We need to have another BBQ. I know Jeff about another AMI event. I'll talk to Nelson and see what can be done. Welcome to world of posting! Hahaha! The more the merrier. -Brian
  19. I'm in hawaii til the 2nd. :)
  20. What kind of file format do you need for the tool? I'd like a few made, but i know these things can be time consuming. Please let me know. Thanks, Brian
  21. Yeah, i cruised in with Driven. Other then Jeff, we ran into another 1200 Coupe owner. Sorry dood, if you're reading this, i didn't catch your name or your sign on. REALLY cool swap. Turn out yesterday was pretty small. I'm probably not going to be going for a while after this. The trucks under the knife. :) -Brian
  22. Did those measurements work out? Wheels still for sale.
  23. I'll do my Datsun history since its not that long. This was the first acquired: Then the second (Bleach knows this one well. haha): Medley: The "Plan:" Stripped the above apart when new blood was found. This isn't exactly what she looked like when I got her. Wish I had taken truly "BEFORE" pics, but oh well. Here, I had already stripped the elephant mirrors and a bug deflector. It also had 15" white Wagon wheels in the back. As she sits now. Daily driven going on 3yrs. now. Big plans for '09. She will always be orange. -Brian
