Dat zen Mike, your correct I found out the its the roadster clutch that fits the 200mm flywheel. I found a old Z car one thats 23#'s, I might take some material out of it like your drawing you posted.

Mine is 63amp a/c delco like for 78 chevy impala. I can get hold off a chrome one for $100.00 or regular finish for $65.00 with the plug.

Here is pic of mine. You can see the red wire just goes back to the alternator for the feild and the other wire goes to the idiot light.

Its a super easy upgrade I just did mine. If you have the plug that goes in the top of the chevy alternator the ones the field the other is the sensor wire that comes on when you turn the key. If you need a pic I can take one of mine. I have 510.

I agree with Datsun Mike, a good machine shop would even know you coud get an adapter and retap the hole. I know O'Rielys has a buch of different fittings for oil pressure gauges.

Tonight I got the elec. fan installed and very pleased with how itworks. It was super easy to install with the spal kit. I had my rad boiled and they put in the boss for the temp sensor see on the lower right. The fan is a little big so, I mounted if off center and and to notch out for the pulley. It not as clean looking as I would have liked. But very please with the perfomance. I fired it up after the install and let her idle for a maybe ten minutes and it kicked right on when the stock temp guage shows the thick line, and the fan ran for a very short time and turned off. The fan really moves some air. I was really surprised at how quiet the enigne is w/o the fan. I think its nice up]grade overall and curious how it will do when it hot out. Its only in the 40F here. Oh yea its sounds kinda cool when the fan kicks on. I also wired to kepp running after car is off if its over 185f Here are some pics. I just notice Byron's dime doesnt have a dizzy, thats clean.

Post some pics when you get to installing the fuel pump. I have an extra tank and was wanting to do the same thing. mikee

one word impressive. I like how the L series look when its detailed out. Do you have 2.2 or what ? I thinking about going with with a 2.3L it would have Z20 crank and KA pistons. Does anybody have a size of type of electric fan they are using on there L engines. I am wanting to put one in and so many to choose from just wondering want some people have done.

Yep its the orgianal color #911 Torilain Green. I upgraded the alternator yesterday, the VR started acting up on me 1 week after I put in the stero and amp. Thinking about doing elec. fan next.
