What looks strange? The old guy ,with the hard hat on owns & does logging on the property. When I went to look at the wagon& the trucks we had to bring our kids& my 3 nieces with us. The little girl in yellow is my niece. Doesn't seem wierd to me at all.

      It all makes sense now.

It looked like a manikin.. and well when you have a old guy where what looks like to be in the middle of a forest... with a hard hat, a datsun and a manikin.. you start askin questions..

Ha ha ha ha! I can kinda see that now. My niece is at the stage of beginning to pick her own outfits. They look kind of odd sometimes,so the manequin thing makes a little sense. I actually forgot that there were people in the picture at all, until you guys pointed it out. I was only focusing on what was interesting to me about the picture, the truck.

  4. Went & took pics of this yesterday, for a customer/friend that is selling it.
  5. Went & checked out the '67 411 Goon I have posted for a customer/friend yesterday. While there,i found a 521 that I'll be getting asap& another parts truck with a z22 in it. I need to research lz22 builds now. He has several 620's too,if anyone is interested.

There are whole trucks. Some are saveable?,some more for parts. There is a 620kc with factory vinyl top ,that has some front end damage, but looked saveable, from what I could see though the blackberries. It has a canopy also. Some of the others have flatbeds on them. Lots of parts potential up there!

  6. Do you have the rear glass? If so,how much?
  7. Did the car have the locking steering column? I'm looking for the ignition switch. I could also use a speedometer guage cluster. thanks!
  8. I went & checked out the wagon today. The rust is mostly on the inside of the rockers,in the door openings. Here are some more pics:
  9. Ok,here's an update. Aparently when the owners bought the car it had just had an engine rebuild, but the car needed brake work,& both the clutch & brake master cylinders need work. It has been sitting ever since. The engine turns freely, has antifreeze in it,etc. They are going to try to find some time to get it started. The title is in the mail. If I had a place to park it/work on it I'd probably buy it myself. This is a pretty straight car,& a good start for someone who is looking for an old wagon. I hope one of you buy this,& fix it,since I can't right now.
  10. I haven't seen this car in person. It has a 1299cc j series engine. I don't know if it runs, but I think they said it hadn't been driven in awhile. I'll ask them more llater.
  11. This isn't my car. It belongs to a customer of mine at Napa. The car is located in Colton,Oregon . He's asking $1500.00 obo for it. Contact me if you're interested & I will pass along your contact info.. Thanks. -Loren
  12. Sorry about all the mis-typed words,i'm using my cel. The computer is brokrn.
  13. I'm going to be posting some pics, info on a '62 datsun wagon for a cistomer of mine at NAPA as soom as I can find the time to go oit there & take a look at it,take the pics. He didn't have a price last time we talked about it,& i'm looking for reasonable suggestions for him. He also has a bunch of Datsun trucks, same deal, price wise. I'll post more, when I have pics,& more info.
  14. that's great! Let me know. Thanks!
  15. I had to wait all week to work on my front wheel.bearings because my hand-me-down tools didn't include the right size sockets last weekend. I got it apart tonight. The inner bearing is fine, just repacked it. The outer bearing fell out in about 10 pieces! Too bad the new bearings I bought are too big.hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to buy the correct bearings,& get the car back on the road.
  16. Had to wait all week to work on my goonbe, ausd last weekend I didn't have the right size sockets, etc to take the caliper off. Turned out the outer wheel bearing was in about 10 pieces. Unfortunately, the new bearings I bought aren't right. Gotta go get the right ones tomorrow,if they're available anywhere.

  17. been there!! I have 5 kids. Gotta give Joey props for bringing the car this far along anyway though!
  18. Ah,i see. Well at least it went to someone else on Ratsun,& it will be completed. When I looked at it the previous owner had wrecked it,then cut off lhe left front corner(inner fender, core support & all! ). It was complete otherwise,& fairly nice. I don't weld,so it was going to be way too much for me to deal with& the guy wanted way too much $ for it if I remember right. Good save!! Hope to see it driving around sometime soon!
  19. Going to do bearings, seals & pads on the front of my Goon today. Been putting it off, because I want to swap to the 280zx struts, etc but something in there has come apart & keeps pushing out the grease cap, making noises so I have to fix that now.

  20. how come Joey's not keeping it? He's put alot of time/work into it. I looked at this goon a few years before he bought it. Fixing that front end couldn't have been easy.
  21. I'm looking for the switch part(not the tumbler) for the locking ignition on my '70 Goon. Anybody have one? Mine still works, but often takes several tries before it will engage the new starter.e

    1. Cuts metal like mad
