Wanted solenoid type starter for 1980 B210

This is probably the sad state of the rebuilt/re manufactured starters that are out there. The high wear parts are simply removed and substandard parts put in and it's sold as re conditioned. A starter from Nissan dealer is probably around $250 so with a dealer markup of 50% a reasonably good starter should be in the $110 range or higher. I see e-Bay ones for $41.

Try to find an original Nissan starter that is in an old 210. You have a 210 AKA a B-310. The B-210 was from '74 through '78. '79-'82 was a 210. This is important if ordering parts. A wrecker starter that is original is better than a rebuilt one. When and if it fails have it rebuilt at a shop that specializes in this.
