Car manufacturers use that method because its easy to mas produce. We don't need that bonus, if a method took 2 days to install but (somewhat)guaranteed security I'm confident to say most of us would be fine with it. There are so many paths one could take. I'm going to start a thread to pool ideas. There have been so many on this and other forums I think it would be a benefit to consolidate the info.
