Collector of Projects
Can someone clarify something on A-Series engines. Is the bellhousing pattern different on the *A13* from the other variations A12, A14, A15? I know it's the bastard child of the series but its rarely discussed. Looking to buy a 60# gearbox to mount to a A13 in my 65' L320. Currently have a #56 gearbox in the truck. Quote Link to comment
iceman510
I don't have your answer (though a friend of mine has lots of 1200 parts, so I could maybe ask him), but where are you in Michigan? Quote Link to comment
Collector of Projects
Oh, Thank you, any help is appreciated. Any leads on parts is helpful also. About 10 mins south of Lansing. Quote Link to comment
Tom1200
All of the A-series blocks use the same pattern. You can bolt any 56 or 60 series gearbox to any A Series engine. Quote Link to comment
iceman510
Huh, I thought I posted this same answer earlier, but must have not done something right. Thanks Tom. Quote Link to comment
