Upper control arm replacement for 1979 Datsun 620

Recommended Posts

I bought a 1979 Datsun 620 and I wanted to replace the upper control arm because a friend suggested to do that (I have no clue on how to fix cars). I’ve been searching around and I haven’t been success in finding the exact pieces. I did find some on eBay but it an upper LH + Rh. Other upper control arms have a horse show appearance and the ones I’ve seen for my particular model looks like a sorta straight bar with two hole and each end. I need help knowing if I’m suppose to buy two of each upper LH + RH for each side of the car or is there a alternative I can look out for?

Because its Bad or just because he said something?

I jack up the A arm or under the A arm to kift it up slightly to take the load off and get that long bolt out then replace the rubber bushings if bad or worn

if you have no clue how to fix cars best to sell that Datsun now to some who knows them. I have a 521 and it breaks constantly. Fuses poping to loose ignition. It never left me stranded but I know this truck. If somebody else buys it will be in junkyard or side of a house in 4/6 months I lay money on that. Everytime I drive it soembody say YOU WANT TO SELL IT. If Mr Bigtanker was closer I just give it to him FREE when Im done with it
