Shane nakaya
Hi, I am currently installing a carpet kit in my 620 regular cab. I was wondering what are the ways to tack it down/glue it down. What have you guys used to glue it down and what do you suggest I use? Quote Link to comment
FrankRizzo
I used 3M spray glue. I added jute padding as well, so l lightly glued the padding down and the lightly glued the carpet to the top of the pad. While you are in there, consider installing a layer of dynamat down. It really helps . 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I trimmed the larger stock 720 carpet for my 620. The under pad was insanely thick but generally the door sills clamped it down on either side. It did not move at all, there's no reason to. You don't walk on it, just rest your feet on it. Wildcat Walker
Without really good weather-stripping, air conditioning, and daily driving, you're just asking for floor rust. Good luck. Quote Link to comment
