I believe the noise has to be something that I haven't changed or adjusted because it has been there for sooo many years, even after valve adjustments and timing chain replacements. Hence why I wanted to change the lifters and springs. But really, an oil pump can make those ticking noises? It is an original one probably from the late 80's. Quote Link to comment
