They are clocked to the other side, but with the right bellhousing, they will bolt in. I wouldn't wast my money though. The Z series cylinder heads were never great. I'd go KA instead.

It's a great price with what I assume is a 4 speed transmission. I'm looking for a spare engine and trans setup.

 

Will a non cross flow head, like a U67 bolt on the Z18 block?

Yes, it should. Obviously the front cover will be different, and there may or may not be a coolant passage in the head gasket that needs punching out. Depending on which gasket you use.

 

For an 1800, I might try a closed chamber head. I bet the Z18 has dished pistons. Curious what rods are in the Z18.
