Prop rod and spring for hood.

Hello all. I’ve acquired what I think is the factory rod for holding the hood in the up position. I did find the spring nestled in a hiding spot on the cylinder head. My problem is I do not know how they attach. Would someone mind taking a few detailed pictures of the rod and spring assembly for me please? Someone at some point ghetto fabbed up some round bar and a washer to make it work. Thank you.

Excellent work thank you very much. I mocked it up in my hand for now and that seems to be the ticket. Appreciate it very much. I’ll post up my results when finished. Hopefully this week.
