Datsun 720 1982 Weber carb

Hi guys I just purchased a Weber 32/36 for my 1982 4x4 with the z 22. Anyway I want to keep the egr does anyone have pictures of there vacuum hose routing???

Ported vacuum signal goes to the BPT (back pressure transducer) from the BPT to the EGR. It's very doubtful that the Weber will have a ported vacuum source for EGR operation. If in California and subject to emissions testing this isn't going to pass.

 

Keep the original Hitachi and mount it just for testing.

 

You could put a T in the vacuum advance line on the Weber and use it to operate the EGR.

Here is my Weber vacuum lines,I have a T in mine,I have a new EGR and I use a Idle cut off solenoid.I use a Empi 42-530 and a large jet.60 and a O -ring.The O-ring does not come with Empi .I tried the Weber Idle cut off solenoid and it didn't work so I bought a Empi and it works great.My Weber would not idle without it.The TVV  valve top port I don't use,on the stock carb it went to the air filter.I did drill a hole in my filter bottom plate awhile back and ran a hose and a elbow and used it like that but I bought a new filter and plate and changed it and notice it didn't make a difference.To use a idle cut off solenoid,you will need your dremel tool to grind next to the hole to make it fit.The heater hose on top of the Egr is cause I had a custom made heating and air installed.Check the last picture you can see my old way with the top TVV valve port gong to the bottom plate of the filter on the Weber.That pic was almost 5 years ago Corey from 720 World told me to do it that way.Look at the idle cut off solenoid,see how a tight fit it is,got to grind it there.Not a spec of dirt on my engine.I have another t- in the line going to one of the 3 metal lines below.
