Why do people always want to delete stuff?????

Carburetors only mix fuel droplets and air. On the way to the combustion chamber it's expected to vaporize or it won't burn. In order to vaporize, heat is absorbed from it's surroundings. The coolant passages provide a warmer manifold than if there were none, increasing mileage and promoting better running. In August, under hood temperatures can rise above boiling point. Here the coolant passages absorb heat, keeping the intake temperature more stabilized. The engine will run like it's June all year round.
