Coolant thru intake

Recommended Posts

That is probably for a new gasket installation. Then there is a specific tightening pattern and it's done in at least two passes. For preserving the clamping pressure on a good running Z24 you can skip the intermediate and fully tighten back to 60 ft lbs. The important think here is to only have one bolt loose at a time. Done this way you can do in any order you like.

Ok , so all set now , new head , intake ,  and exhaust gaskets . Idle is high but running like a top .carb has always been an issue , I have 2 or 3 more that came with the truck so that’s next . Well I have to change the gears in the rear , this is some sort or a restored truck and the front and rear gears don’t match so no 4x4 till I swap them . Thanks everyone for the help , Richard
