The KA24E from an S13 also bolts up after grinding the Z20 throttle chamber. Less electronic may be easier to find/cheaper and another option.

KA's are about as rare over here as the Z's. Pretty much all pickups sold where diesel and the S13's and S14's all had the CA and SR engines. Can't think of any fwd KA's being offered here either. 🤔

I went dbw mostly to simplify intake and piping, idle and cold starts. 

And it gives me the option of enabling cruise control on my ecu with the addition of a speed sensor. That will really make the car more lucrative to drive more/longer as right now my knee just locks up because of the cramped driving position. 82 model so the cab is the smallest. 🤧
