71-521 Posted June 20, 2007 Report Share Posted June 20, 2007 if you read some of Hainz's old postings about petronics, he mentions the dual point units cannot be made to work... getting an EI unit would be cheapest...or a large capped L20b unit... I bought a rebuilt single point and had to have the "boss" machined off to fit the petronics unit... if you still want the small capped single point unit, I have a spare you can have for 20.00...boss needs to be machined off to work though... banzai510(hainz) Posted June 21, 2007 Report Share Posted June 21, 2007 I have done the L20b distributors. Yes the Pertronix dist do not fit the dual point dist. This should have been in the ad.68-69 single point dist. or SSS unit. Below is shown a L20b dist. Make sure you have get the matching pedastal/mount. L16 mounts do not work on L20 or later dist. due to clocking orientation. Link to comment
