spddm0n
I've been chasing down why the horn is working and I checked the horns themselves, the relay, the fuse, and ultimately pulled the steering wheel to find something that may be missing from the horn button (I think). I checked the online exploded diagrams and the FSM, but nothing that shows the actual plastic "shell" that bolts to the back of the steering wheel that contains the metal "disc" that transfers electrical continuity through to the steering wheel, from the brass cylindrical contact/spring in the combination switch on the steering column (wow! did that make sense?). 🙂 What is missing from these pictures? Is there supposed to be a couple springs or something that go inside the two tall protruding parts in this rear steering wheel "shell", that connect to the horn button itself? I can see the contact in the bottom of these two protrusions. Here's what the rest of it the assembly looks like. I can see where the missing "contacts" are supposed to be on the back of the horn button. Thanks!! Edited July 4, 2019 by spddm0n 1 Quote Link to comment
Angeldust720
Yeah your missing another metal piece that overlaps that piece, you need it becuase if you press on it it’s pressure sensitive or something like that and it activates the horn 1 Quote Link to comment
