i need help & guidance Posted January 18, 2019 Report Share Posted January 18, 2019 i am looking for surface mount universal mirrors of some type that can be mounted on the door without have to take off the door panels the factory mirrors are too small for me . anyone found something that fits the contour of the door and has a mirror that is larger ? 1 Quote Link to comment
weldingrod Posted January 18, 2019 Report Share Posted January 18, 2019 I assume your mirrors are attached right to the door. I would scrap those, get some brackets (came factory on some Nissans) then you can attach any mirror you want. The 4x4's had a swivel mount so if you hit something the mirror bracket would just fold over on swivels instead of denting the door or ripping the mirror off. 1 Quote Link to comment
