84 720 red wire from ignition switch

My wiring diagram doesn't show it, but in my '83 there are 2 individual red wires with spade connectors that come out of the lock mechanism (not the ignition switch itself, which has a 6-lug plug).  These go to the key switch, which is what makes the beeper go off if you have the key in the ignition with the door open.  The wires they plug into are different colors than the wires coming from the switch, which are red with a stripe.

That's likely it. Found it!

 

I don't have the wires on the key switch but they connect to a Black and a Black.Green wire. Green to the #5 fuse, and Black/Green to the chime, chime is grounded by the door switch. Open door... chime goes off if key in ignition.
