izzo
So, i dont know what i was thinking.... I thought there would be a bar in there that i could loosen the nut and ajdust the camber. Theres not lol........ I figured out that i will need to take the shims out of the upper control arm. Anyone have some pictures of that area, what i should look for and maybe some advice? they dont stick out to bad now, i would like them to be slightly in at the top. Thanks! you can see below its not that bad but im sure itll eat my tires well Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
If I'm not mistaken you add shims (washers) to bring the top of the tire closer to the truck. Quote Link to comment
izzo
Regular washers would work? or do i have to get specific shims. and how would i know how much to go in? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Should work. Use equal number of washers on the two bolts. Get a small torpedo level and hold vertically against the tire rim edges. Mine is magnetic. Make sure the truck is on a level surface. Jack it up and set the shims and tighten, lower and check with the level. Adjusting one side may upset the other so be prepared to add and subtract shims. After every adjustment bounce the front end by hand to stabilize the suspension. Quote Link to comment
